The spider's short-cut (hint)

A diagram will often help you to understand a problem.
In this case, draw a net for the cube.
Mark the points A and B on your net.
Now think about the shortest distance between two points...

You might need to do some measuring to get the final answer.

Another way is to use Pythagoras'  theorem.
